i think i’m midway
but midway to what?
my own quarantine?
the rest of the world will still be in quarantine
or rather confinement
but what’s the difference?
back in the day
not so long ago actually
i used to love this
to take a week off
stay at home
to take a break from the world
but this is different
it doesn’t seem to have an end date
makes me lose my emotions
excitement
happiness
love
even anger and fear
...

mais au milieu de quoi?
ma propre quarantaine?
le reste du monde sera encore en quarantaine
ou plutôt en confinement
mais c’est quoi la différence?
à l’époque
il n’y a pas si longtemps en fait
j’aimais ça
prendre une semaine de repos
rester à la maison
pour prendre une pause du monde
mais là c’est différent
ça ne semble pas avoir une date de fin
ça me fait perdre mes émotions
excitation
bonheur
amour
même colère et peur
