but this time it was different

about us not being together
about me not being able to do anything about it
i miss you
more than words can express
more than i can describe
so much so
the pain is back
transformed
anew
hurting
as pain does
not as intensely as it used to
but differently
in a way that makes it worse
there's nothing we can do about it
